Terms of use
The terms on which LivingBits B.V. offers this site. By using the site you accept them.
The service
Emigrator is a free information service. It compares countries, immigration routes and cities against the answers you give, and shows the requirements, figures and sources it used. There is no account and no payment.
We may change, suspend or withdraw the service, or any part of it, at any time.
Decision support, not advice
Nothing on this site is legal, tax, financial or immigration advice, and no adviser–client relationship arises from using it. A result names what our encoded rules found against your answers. It is not a statement that you are eligible for anything and not a recommendation to apply.
No guarantee
We do not guarantee that any visa, permit or residence status will be granted, that any cost will be as shown, or that any outcome will follow. Authorities decide each application on its own facts and may use discretion, and laws, fees and thresholds change.
Most routes on this site are drafts: built from official sources and not yet checked by us line by line, which each one states. A route marked as checked was read against its legal instrument on the date shown, and may have changed since.
Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom
These four countries are ranked on everything but eligibility, and their fit score is shown with that part left out. Each of them regulates who may give immigration advice, so the site applies no route’s rules, thresholds or conditions to a visitor’s answers there, names the regulator on each country page, and asks the visitor to check their route with a licensed adviser.
Using the site
You may use the site for your own information and share links to it. Do not use it in a way that harms it or other people, for example with automated requests at a volume that impairs it. The texts, compilations and software are ours or our licensors’; the sources we cite keep their own terms.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the site, including decisions taken, applications made or costs incurred. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer.
Applicable law
Dutch law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live. We may update these terms; the version on this page applies.
